Join Huntington Beach’s 121st annual Fourth of July celebration—the largest Independence Day event west of the Mississippi—starting with the family-friendly Surf City 5K run along Main Street and PCH beginning at 7 AM. Continue the festivities with the Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast at Lake Park (7–10 AM). The main 2.5-mile parade launches at 10 AM featuring military units, marching bands, local businesses, classic cars, and community groups. From noon to evening, enjoy live music and activities in Pier Plaza. Cap the day with a stunning 9 PM fireworks show over the Huntington Beach Pier, courtesy of the Mayer Family Foundation. Street closures and parking restrictions begin at 5 AM, so plan accordingly.
